The SECRETS to marketing on MySpace

On Monday May 14th, a Free Webinar conducted by Bob Cefail, Chairman of publicly traded In Touch Media Group (ITMG), showcased a new Internet marketing product called PromoBlackBox. ITMG is an industry leader in pay per click advertising and social networking(MySpace, YouTube). Promoblackbox is a new internet marketing product geared at helping small, medium, and large businesses be more effective at marketing on the internet.

According to the Pew Research Group approximately 50% of product purchases are preceded by an internet search. These surprizing findings show a definite trend that consumers are turning to the Internet for infomation. An effective website is becoming more and more important.

The suite of Internet marketing tools consists of training and technology that is meant to drive traffic and assist websites to convert traffic into leads and sales. The online training twice weekly covers Internet marketing topics such as MySpace and free publicity that are tailored to save/make a business $1000 or more.

Mr Cefail then turned to the social networking behemoth, MySpace Myspace currently has 176,000,000 registrants, over 80% of which are 21 or older, dispelling the ongoing myth that Myspace "is just a bunch of teenagers." This information gives anyone with the correct approach to Myspace the opportunity to promote themselves or their business to millions for free.

Major companies in the movie, music, real estate and financial services industries have taken notice of this free, fast growing arena and are reaping great financial benefits.

There are three important elements to success on myspace. The first is to set up an attractive personal profile/page based on one's interests and target audience. Second is to "make friends" via the browse tab that finds friends by specifc demographics and/or groups tab where like minded individuals are gathered. The final and most important part of building an effective Myspace page is to "build-up" friends consistantly by hand adding friends daily.

Mr.Cefail stated that once 100 friends is reached, then adding "super-friends," those with hundreds or thousands of friends and or famous or well known is advised and more likely to be accepted.

The communication methods used to actively and effectively "do business" directly with individuals and groups on Myspace are bulletins, events, messages, and commenting Messaging and commenting is done from the onset, but in order to create a viral effect bulletins and Events are the best methods. When done in a conversational and tasteful manner a businesses "event" can initially be sent to 100 "friends" and be forwarded (reposted) and eventually reach thousands of people...free।

Ultimately it is clear if you own your business or have a product or service to sell, if you're not using Myspace you're missing out on a tremendous market.
